The operations manager is responsible for the effective control of the project. He will be responsible for ensuring that the work is performed in accordance with the contract specification and within the time and cost constraints. He shall arrange the necessary manpower, plan, machinery and materials to complete the constructions activities with the contract requirements.
To coordinate all resources required for each contract such as timescales, budgets and technical standards are achieved to the highest quality and safety.
To develop, control, coordinate and ensure implementation of planning, scheduling, and cost control and material management activities.
Define the duties, responsibilities and reporting authorities of the project personnel in exercising surveillance over quality requirements/ activities, material suppliers and testing for project.
Preparing and conducting HSE related training for site people. More, HSE in charge is functionally reports to the project engineer responsible for implementation of all safety requirements as per project safety. More over, procedure to meet the project requirements. HSE in charge shall ensure complete compliance with safety requirements at the project site. The HSE in charge will coordinate daily with the SE overall problem areas concerning safety.
The following are the lists of duties and responsibilities for the project team at the job site: - Review all contract drawings, specifications and amendments. Review all material submittals for compliance with plans and specifications. - All conflicts shall be notified for clarifications. - Reporting to concerned department in-charge. - Maintain continuous inspection of all project activities to assure a high standard quality.Maintain all relevant details related to the scope of work at the site. - Maintain high standard of quality output in duties assigned.
The final contract review shall be carried out by AL-Hana for the job which has been completed by AL-Hana management. The contract details have been agreed between the main contractor and AL-Hana during the contract award. Operations manager is responsible for communicating with various departments for any scope changes, contract clarifications etc.
QCI shall establish and maintain the documents to ensure achievement of desired/ set quality standards. It shall be his responsibility to see documents are properly maintained and stored after project completion and that each subcontractors (if any) on this contract establish and maintain similar records.
To assure that material and supplies are properly received, off-loaded, inspected and stored in accordance with approved purchase orders and contract specifications. This will establish methods to be employed to assure that supplies are properly reviewed, off-loaded, inspected and stored in accordance with approved purchase orders and contract specifications. The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that all the materials are procured from approved suppliers in order to meet the quantity, quality and on-time delivery to AL-Hana.
Establish the methods for quality control reporting, performing, inspection and tests. Inspection and testing shall be performed based on the inspection test plan in compliance with the requirements of project specification. More, inspection and testing shall be performed to assure that test requirements are adequately planned and that the necessary test requirement is available to conduct the test in a satisfactory manner. These procedures establish the methods to be used when conducting all tests as per ITP.
